    It'll be fun no doubt! Probably be a bit tame after cliff hanger haha but you'll still enjoy it. Like i said before. Totally different way of wheeling. Avoiding hundreds of mini diff crunching boulders haha

    No..anything over 100% would be. But that was a few weeks ago. S could get over

    But this area is very dry. Water is an issue always as we get it all mainly from snow pack. So anything above 80% is epic really.

    Well..actually above normal..like I said. The last 15 years we have been in drought. So anything above 80 is amazing. But yes. Winter is not done here in the mountains..hell even done here in the desert valley we get a flash snow storm. I remember my sophomore year of high school in April it just up and decided to dumb 2-2.5' of snow haha was a fun soccer practice that day! Haha

    It would work better for me to make it a Saturday - Tuesday trip, then I'm only missing 2 days of work.
    That means that my group would start in Red Lodge on Saturday and mess around along the side roads until sometime Sunday, then get in the north end of Morrison on Sunday afternoon and wait for you guys to start on Monday morning. Back track along the Morrison together and either camp there or start Goose, finishing on Tuesday and heading for home. Gonna make Tuesday a really long day but hopefully it will be worth it. I can rest up when I get back to the office :cool: :eek:

    :laugh: no. historical averge snowpack is considered as 100% so 90% is 10% less than average. And from what I've seen in the northern portions of yellowstone and in the west end of the park my guess is that overall snowpack is even lower than 90%...I was in West Yellowstone this last weekend and usually the city has more snow than they know what to do with. On an average year the snowplows bury the stop signs along the city streets and a crew has to come back out to chisel the snow back from the signs. This year the snow isn't even waist deep in town and less than 3' in the park where I snowshoe.
    My suspicion is that its going to be a dry summer

    yea i think its gonna be a dry year again too :eek: hopefully there aren't as many fires this year so we can have a fire as we won't be on any real camp grounds :pray:

    This works well for me too. Add my vote to this schedule idea.

    I'm thinking it will be a dry summer too. With the effects of the federal sequestration on the budget, firefighting is gonna be a nightmare. Who knows what's gonna happen.
