    Well I was planning on going as far on the Morrison as possible so we would just have to get up on Monday and wait for Monte's crew. And I thought the whole point of you and Mike joining us was to run the trail together? :confused: I think it would be best to meet up somewhere along the highway and then head to Morrison together.

    So you're not doing the Morrison leg or you are? If you're joining us for the Morrison I'd like to know in advance so I know how many trucks we're going to have.

    I'm debating putting a CB in my rig. Don't really see the point though, yet I love comms stuff and antennas. A bit redneck though, some people seem to think. hmmmm.

    CB in the rig would cost me $35 for the CB, like $15 for a firestick, and another $10 for a spring, and more $ for cabling, mounts...

    Depending on your pace and all. I figured you make most of Morrison. The closer to the canyon you get the rockier and more trees you hit. Closer to the hwy is supposed to be more open. Since you'll have about 5 trucks and 3 will RTTs I figure camping in the open parts will be nicer. Then you can run the rockier part by the cliffs in the morning to meet with us.

    I don't plan an hauling ass through the canyon. Figure we will have pics and stuff

    It'll come to about 70 bucks.

    I do have my handheld..but no external antenna. Makes the range suck. You welcome to it tho.

    You soooooooooo going to regret not coming this year haha

    I like this thread :thumbsup: And I'd like to see if I could make at least a part of it work for a summer vaca.

    For some entertainment (and not to derail anything), I'll just leave this little gem here. Although I didn't make this trip, I did speak to the thread's author about his experiences. Amazing trip is about the only way to sum it up. Lots to see and do in the west!

He's been into Shoshone a few times and drives an old yote. Told me about a few other little trails in the area as well. I told him about TW, maybe he'll pop up in here...
