Thanks Eric. I did not get the wireless remote.

The other question has been answered about the control box materials. I couldn't agree more, I've been very impressed with what I've seen so far from COMEUP.

It's too bad they really won't fit well on Tacomas but the 8274 really is a great winch. I had one on my old 40 also. Good thing there's quality alternatives like the COMEUP that do fit nicely on Tacomas. ;)

I worked it good too. ;) This was a pretty good pull

I have the wireless remote for my M8000.
Again, haven't had a need for the winch, yet, but, "yard testing" with the remote, it works well.
Maybe nice to hand it to a spotter in some cases.

I have considered modifying my bumper to accommodate my 8274, but I haven't gotten the nerve up yet. Maybe one day.

Any recommendations for a good fairlead? Have the Warn M-8000 synethic. The chrome fairlead that comes with the unit just doesnt work on a MGM tacoma with black pelfy bumper lol.

So just looking for a black fairlead with the 10" bolt holes.

Check out Southeast Overland. I believe they have a black anodized fair lead.

Factor 55 makes a good looking fairlead. It's not black but it is a darker color.

So you get an idea of the color, on a black bumper

Those fat fairleads don't make sense to me, like the Factor55 one and that Warn one. I'd rather have the smallest thing possible sticking out from the front of the bumper. Less crap to drag on the rocks. Now I'm looking for a place to hang the Factor55 Prolink that's out of the way so it's not stickin out either.

The COMEUP one that I have on the cruiser is just about the same dimensions as the Trail Gear one I have on the Tacoma. If I could recess them or go thinner I would.

If it's worth it have em milled down thinner and make sure the backside of the lead in radius is still smooth and if not have it get radius on the back side too, my . 02

Yeah for the ARB bumper I had it was a different story. I worked with Custom Splice to create a 1.5" thick offset fairlead just so you could get the line out past the recess because it was so far back there. I know it was designed for a roller fairlead but I didn't like using Deralin rollers with my Syn Line and I wanted a Hawse.

Now with the Addicted Off Road line I want it tight. The F55 Flatlink E that I have is less sticking out but still sticking out in the way.
