Spare parts on the trail

What spare parts do you guys carry on the trails? i need to get a list together of what to buy in regards to what is likely to fail.
So far my list has U Joints and spare CV axles.

A equal size tire, cv axle, u-joint etc. Also all the needed tools/fluid to install the spare parts. Gear oil, brake fluid etc.

just a little note. if you take everybodys advice in this department you will end up carrying an entire spare vehicle in your truck. Just find what you feel is most important. you can't plan for everything.

For me, its spare cv, spare tire, fluids (brake, oil, gas), duct tape, old bike tire inner tube. plus corresponding tools and such.

Might be a dumb question but what is the old inner tube used for?

I have no idea?

On real trips I carry extra:
2 cv axles
Tie rods
Fluids
Arb Compressor
Wheel bearings
Rad hoses
Fuses
Random hoses and bolts/nuts

Might be forgetting other stuff

Spoonman has the right idea. On long backcountry trips, hunting in northern B.C. I used to pack about the same. The random lengths of hoses/clamps/nuts and bolts saved my ass more than once. Getting some pre-assembled hubs/bearings isn't good idea too.
