Way too much work to make the tires fit on a 3"...I'd rather just get a drop bracket lift and have to deal with a cab mount chop at the most, instead of continually beating the crap out the wheel wells with a giant hammer to still have rubbing

Relax bud it was a joke.
Actually the reason i don't like drop brackets is there isn't an increase in clearance except for whatever increase there is in the tires, you have to cut out the front crossmember and replace it, the higher center of gravity than tubbing and cutting, and I guess I just hate the looks. You're definitely right when you said 95% of trucks have db lifts, maybe that's why I don't like them. Reminds me of all the trucks around here that somebody's daddy bought for them to put big tires under, show off and never actually take off the pavement.
Like I said, to each their own.

Eh...to be completely honest, I'm just not sure what else I would get.

    Mud grapplers...dont last long enough
    Trail grapplers...same thing
Km2s...have rode in multiple vehicles with em and I'm not completely impressed
    MTR w/kevlar...to expensive
    Pro comp/mickey thompson...just no

The toyos are actually awesome offroad and they last a long time...unfortunately everyone has them

Use one cuss word and people think you're freakin' out haha I'm in noway trying to so that db's are the best way to go just saying how most with them probably feel. I'm going LT and fiberglass to fit bigger tires haha

I wouldn't let the fact that a lot of "pavement princesses" use toyos steer you away from buying them. (That's not to say that a lot of pavement princesses don't have them on there haha because that's a fact) They're good tires, just really heavy like you said. We sell a lot of them where I work.

Love my Toyos, But I've never heard anybody say trail grapps don't last... The sidewalls don't seem like they'd do much but otherwise just about the same as a Toyo

My best friend has trail grapplers. He rotates his every oil change but they've worn really well. Had another friend with 35" mud grapps that didn't wear near as well though.

I like the tread of the hankook dynapro mt's but I've never gotten a chance to test them out personally.

I've heard that they don't clean out too well, but don't any kind of personal experience either

In my buddy's z71 the mud grapplers didn't pull nearly as good as I expected them to actually. To me it didn't seem like it was much better than my best friend's trail grapplers at all on almost the same truck. Both ext cab z71's. 33" Trail grapplers on 2011 z71, 35" mud grapplers on 2006 z71. I'm just a fan of the trail grapplers I guess.
