2/21/09 Calico Run! 150+ Pictures! 56k Don't bother!!

So the TTORA Run for February was held at Calico and I wanted to share some pictures with guys from this weekends run! It was def a lot of fun and everyone had a blast!! We even had some dry lake bed races!!

thats the drive shaft, had the sucker replaced in about 15 with a spare but ended up breaking the rear locker spool and popping beads on 2 tires a few minutes later.

this pic was taking a few weeks ago when we were at the same spot, only going down and not up..had no problems then hahaha....

 

how do you take those kind of pics so one of the images and still and the background is blurry??? great pics by the way, is any of that place prerunner friendly?

dude...that LT kit was awsome to say the least!!!. gave tons more articulation in the front and kept the wheels on the ground. she had no rear locker, only LSD and had no problems on the trail. and yup..35's for even more ground clearance.

 

great news! any rubbing or other issues?

Yes Calico is Pre-Runner friendly as long as you stay off those 2 trails leading up to the runs. As far as the pictures, and what gear I am using it's my trail camera which is a Nikon D70s with a 55-200mm VR Lens. As far as the Depth of field question...you have to shoot in Aperture mode, pretty much you tell the camera how much you want in focus once you have selected your subect

 

no issues with the LT kit, the LT kit thats on Sara's taco is one of the very original versions and has been on there since October. some small changes have been made for the actual production versions. she had minor rubbing on the bed from the tires when the suspension was flexed out..wasn't a big deal.
