Pismo Beach Dunes

I know there is a place around Pismo Beach that you can take your 4wd and play in the dunes. Does anyone know where it is????

for specific directions,

If going north on the 101, exit Grand Ave (exit 187), take a left, go straight until you hit the beach and BAM you're there!

How crowded does it get int he spring time????

 

Wow you guys beat me to it. Are you camping there for the weekend??? If I can get a hall pass I will be there...

You should be able to get a pass...usually you only need reservations on holiday weekends..off weekends it doesnt normally fill up

 

and all of it isn't open. they have a lot of it fenced off now.
