    I know there is a place around Pismo Beach that you can take your 4wd and play in the dunes. Does anyone know where it is????

    for specific directions,

    If going north on the 101, exit Grand Ave (exit 187), take a left, go straight until you hit the beach and BAM you're there!

    You should be able to get a pass...usually you only need reservations on holiday weekends..off weekends it doesnt normally fill up

    and all of it isn't open. they have a lot of it fenced off now.

    oh ok. but like its open to all vehicles, bikes, quads, trucks? thats kinda what i meant. Man i wish i could go.
