Not sure how much you had to 'play with this file (which is a good thing) but it looks like the camera/lens did a good job. The composition of a bright background with the main elements in shadow in the foreground can be a challenge for some camera sensors.

 

Not a ton. I did have to bring down the whites in the back ground..but thats about it. Not much else. didn't change it a ton.

Some i have barely down anything too really..some..i have had to play with a bit more.

So far im very happy with the shots though. Only big mistake is like you told me with too slow a shutter speed so some shots came out blury. Or when grant or jess where shoot in auto and it didn't focus on what im sure they want it too. Or they didn't frame it right.

So..just user error really. Its pretty fun i have to say. Can't wait to use it more.

yea i tried to keep the iso down as much as possible.

Im sure thats why Mike runs in TV mode. He just sets the shutter speed and keeps and eye on the aperture.

Where are you and i did AV and set the apeture and kept and eye on the shutter speed..which works fine usually unless you find yourself in a spot that needs an iso boost.

Which for you is a PITA right? you have to go through a menu and what not? i just have a button and spin my secondary dial..can even see the numbers through the eye piece. Im sure if i was good enough i could just shoot and change it super fast on the fly...but im not practiced haha

 

i shot a bit on TV. Like AV a tad more for me personally..idk why though..can't hurt to try again though!

this is on top of Dead Indian pass at the highest point of the Chief Joseph highway which IMO is one of the greatest roads you can ever drive along with the Beartooth highway
