This same thing happened to me today! Did you find a solution?

    Just a few
So what did the problem end up being. I have the 10000s that I'm about to install and I clocked it a few weeks ago.

Talked to Joel at Engo, and I should mention that he picked up on the first ring! He sighed and explained that since there's no documentation about re-clocking the winch this happens pretty often. IT'S NOT A BIG DEAL!

Don't pull the motor away from the spool at all. If you do you may screw up the clocking of the motor like we did. If you did, you need begin by laying the winch down, standing upright with the gear side down. Then pull the motor side away and reorient the couplers like that of the drawing. Reassemble and cross your fingers (it should have fixed the problem.

I'll be trying it as soon as I can... in May.

    Good luck with the install!
