Road Trip! Looking for suggestions for sights to see...

So, the wife and I are going on a road trip next week. In a weeks time we are going to drive from colorado through Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota. We'd like to see the sights along the way. Does anyone have any suggestions of places/things to see, trails to hit, places to camp, towns to visit?

 

Seriously? No one has suggestions for that part of the country?

 

Google maybe? Idk...I'm on the wrong yard line of the country.

I've only been across I-80. Ocean Lake, Wy looks kinda interesting from Google Earth. Pretty Country up there.

Glacier National Park too.

 

south dakota is cool.
There is the black hills there, all sorts of cool mining towns, Cave tours, Mount rushmore theres lots of do there just google

Also MTgirl (lisa), is up in Montana, I'm sure she knows of places to go.

If I was on a roadie, I think I would check out the Grand Teton mountains and Yellowstone fer sure, good luck!

Thanks for the links/suggestions. Right now, we're looking at doing, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Jewel Cave, Theodore Roosevelt Nat. Park and Badlands. Still looking for more N.D. and Montana stuff though.

So, if anyone knows has a line on "local favorite" places to see, keep them coming!

There is the Glacial Nat'l Park in NW Montana near where Alberta and BC meet at the US border. I'm planning on hitting it next spring.
