Does anyone know any good trails in southern california. More specifically orange county. I'm looking to go out camping for the weekend or just hitting some trails for the day.

Holy Jim is a hiking trail, Trabuco Creek Rd is the road you can drive on that is dirt. Very easy trail that I've done in a Honda Civic. There are some side trails that you can play on. Rain causes the trail to increase in difficulty.

Santiago Canyon is a paved road called S18. It starts from 241 and connects to El Toro Rd. Main Divide is the road on the top of the Cleveland National Forest. It is a fire trail (Dozed Dirt) that can range from Moderate to Easy.

To get there from Irvine Lake head East on the S18 Santiago Canyon Rd. Make a left on Silverado Canyon Rd. Keep right and stay on Silverado Canyon Rd. for about 15-20 mins till you rear the gate. If the gates open enter the gate into Maple Springs Road. This road will take you to Main Divide.

You can take the trail south to Blue Jay Campground in Lake Elsinore, CA. (858) 673-6180. If not you can take it North to Corona and take the 91 home. Use Google to familiarize yourself with the area, or take someone who knows the area. Do not go alone, many cars are left up there.
