Hey everyone. I am considering producing winch lines and winch line extensions. And offering them to you guys at a competitive price compared to the big guys.

Using the same 3/8" Amsteel-blue 8000kg(17,600lb) breaking strength line, and manufacturer recommended materials.

What is the interest in winch line extensions/rigging lines?

Any desired length. 10', 15', 25', 50', 100'. Soft eyes in each end or a stainless thimble.

For prices considerably less than other companies offer, would you be interested?

    Benefits of synthetic winchline-
    12-Strand single-braid construction of 100% Dyneema® SK-75 fiber with Samthane coating.
Standard Color: blue (also available by special order in red, green, orange, and silver/gray)
Size for size, the same strength as steel
    Extremely low stretch
Lightweight 1/7 the weight of wire rope
Size for size the same strength as wire rope
    Wire rope replacement
    Floats
    Superior wear and flex fatigue
    Torque free
    UV stabilized
    Wire replacement
    Durable-outlasts wire
    Easily inspected or field fixed
    Cheap to ship
Easy to work with(anyone can use it)
Very light weight and can be contained in a small space.

I'd love to hear some input.

Southeast Overland sells replacement winch lines $230 for 80 feet. Where would you be at pricewise, ballpark not exact? And what does it cost to ship things to the states?

Shipping is likely pretty cheap. Shouldn't be more than 15-$20.

I am currently still working on pricing for the bulk line, I will have prices for a basic winch extension up soon. Pricing for the hooks for the winch line is tough. They're expensive hooks. Looks like that $230 doesn't include a hook. Possible just a basic tube thimble. I will do my best to beat that.

I'm interested in switching out my steel winch line for a synthetic line. Sub'd for pricing

TJM is an Australian company that isn't too terribly different than ARB.

Good to know. I guess that means that Sara has a smoking deal on this synthetic line because I can't find anything cheaper than that
