    5/8.

    I think you mean 3/8.

5/8 is giant. Way too strong for out trucks and super expensive. I got some 1/2 for free and it is overkill. Switched to 3/8 to fit more on the drum.

A small handful of select mods.
I have seen these in action and they do work good. I had Derlin Rollers on my ARB with syn line for a while. I actually have been working with a company to build a 1.5" thick offset Hawse for the deep ARB's like on our 2nd Gens. I am testing one on my truck now and they are selling a few online to gauge the interest.

    Check these out:

Edit: Well crap I stand corrected. They must have sold them all. I will have to give them a call on Monday. Also congrats on the new family member!

Most winches will hold between 80 and 100 ft. I got about 110 ft. of 3/8" on my warn m8000.

I recommend getting at least 80 ft.

Some lift, some armor, some scratches..
I have the Daystar poly rollers on my Arb. I had to trim their length to fit my fairlead but it was easy peasy. I like the all black look too as I hate chrome.

I'm actually just getting the bumper installed this weekend, boxing the frame and beefing up the end caps tomorrow, and still need to buy the synthetic rope.

Prob looking at going with 75' of 3/8 amsteel in either red or black.
