Haha I could probably create a YouTube channel dedicated to the moron out of staters that try to drive into vedauwoo in the winter. There was a Nissan murano up to its frame with a dozen hippies diggin it out. They refused my help on pulling it out too.

We came upon this vein of a brilliant blue mineral. Due to the large amount of petrified "wood" in the surrounding area we figured it had to be high grade, free range Viagra.

One of my favorites. I have pondered this "engine, unit #61" for hours. It has provisions for driving a water pump, air compressor, generator and who knows what else off the bell housing end (missing).

Of course what is stranger than building a houseboat in a cave in the middle of the desert.

I guess if your into lapidary work and building a houseboat, your going to need water, so you got to make yourself a water pump......in a cave.

Very few people know anything about vehicles anymore. It still amazes me the amount of people that seem to know about vehicles and don't realize that 4WD really isn't even 4wd. haha

    Two instances come to mind.....

First was a few years ago while doing a trail called Crown King Trail here in AZ. We came around a corner and there was this truck pulled off the side of the trail and two people holding up a very large woman in a squatted position while she shat on the side of the trail. My eyes will never be the same again.

Second was at the sand dunes Thanksgiving weekend. There was a bunch of Jeeps racing the hill and this guy with a stretched wheelbase Jeep, fiberglass body, and huge HP rolls up to challenge another Jeep. They race and this guy in the fancy Jeep gets beat. He proceeds to roll down the hill, pull up to an open area behind our group, get out, take a gas can and empty it inside the Jeep, take off his wedding ring and threw it in the Jeep, and threw a match at it. Craziest shit I've ever seen. He ended up getting arrested and charged with the cleanup costs.

I was out on my ATV back in March in the hills near my house. I was with a couple buddies and we were going to go hike a natural arch. It started snowing while we were riding and decided to not hike since we couldn't really see and the rocks were pretty slick. So we decided to drive around the forest roads. We came up on a mid 90's S-10 Blazer buried in the snow. The kids had spent the night there with no gear. They had cell service, but my guess is they didn't want to call anyone since they were most likely doing some drugs based on how they were acting. We rode the ATV's back out to get my tacoma and my buddies truck. Ended up spending a good 2 hours getting them unstuck and back out to the main forest road. One of the kids parents were there and when we got back to the ATV trailers, the kids just took off. Never said thanks or nothing. They even told us that the local towing place quoted them $2000 to come get them out.
At least the parents bought us a couple beers and a burger at the bar in town. They were real lucky that my buddies and I were out there that day!

No mud flaps, plasti dipped emblems, and rear bumper, Weather tech digital fit, Bed mat from tractor supply. Pioneer 4400BH head unit. B.A.M.F bed rail tie downs. AVS vent visors.
x2. drug runners or cartels maybe.
over the years of riding dirt bikes, 4 wheelers and utvs. I know 1st hand what can happen without a helmet or even with one on. i have had to get 6 stitches by my right temple after flipping a utv in snow at 5mph(yes 5 fucking MPH) buddy was driving and we started to turn and it just started sliding/drifting hit a rock and plopped on it’s side. I busted my head open on the cage and also ended up with a light concussion.

I have flipped atvs on top of me, been thrown over the bars and ran over. i have also cracked 2 snell rated helmets all the way thru the foam, Got light/medium concussions from both those crashes.

only time i don’t wear one is when doing yard work.
