Any easy trails in SoCal?

Hi guys, just got a 2014 2.7 PreRunner and am just itching to take her off roading. Any suggestions for a newb with no wheeling experience? I live in Orange County area.

There's a bunch of trails in the Cleveland National Forest. Dirtopia has some info on the spots.

There are some cool trails near Hemet near the San Jacinto mountains. Bee Canyon to Pine Cove Road. And there are also some cool easy dirt trails like Thomas Mountain trail. I know it's a couple hours but it's fun and worth it. Beautiful area! Or you could also head up the 5 to Hungry Valley OHV near Gormon

Thanks. Are all these 2X4 friendly? I don't have a locker or recovery equipment so I'm not trying to do anything that might get me stuck. Just trying to get my feet wet.

All the trails I listed are 2wd friendly. You'll have a great time!

I've only been on a couple of trails on the south side of 74, but they were both definitely 2x4 friendly. Not sure about the trails on the northern half of the CNF though. If you end up going, let us know how it was. I just moved to San Clemente so I'm still trying to figure out the best places to go also.

I ended up not having time to go but when I do (hopefully soon) I'll be back with plenty of pics and reviews.
