Galveston-Pelican Island Offroading?

Next to Texas A&M on pelican island there is a park that seems to be for ATVs and bikes, I was wondering if it is also for Trucks? I will be there again tomorrow until Possibly sunday. Thanks.

I have a week off in June going to Tennessee. Cold creek if I am not mistaken. And in the mornining I am going to Big Easly to wheel.

As for the property across from A&M its open to the public and you can bring anything. I had fun but didn't have a camera as I was supposed to be there working. Not Wheeling and riding the beach. Thanks

 

Well work sent me back to Galveston so I brought a camera but was in a hurry to get back home. Here is what I have.

This is high, very high about shoulder high to the bottom of the door, I had to get out to take the pic my buddy couldn't get out and back in with out abusing my truck.

 

holy thread revival. went to check out pelican island this morning. every entrance to the "trails" is blocked, gated with signs that say construction area and no tresspassing.
