Yeah very fun trail. Actually went back the very next weekend to camp out there with the family.

Yeah I think 3 hours tops with BSing. Last weekend I ran it both both directions in just 2 hours. Granted it was only 2 capable trucks/drivers so it didn't take long at all.

    Poser pic at the end:

What do you have done to the rear? I've observed I get a lot more movement up front paired with the LT rear compared to trucks that only have the front done.

It does pretty well for what it is:

It's pretty hard to get IFS to flex by putting it up on top of something like this:
It flexes pretty good like this though (unless your springs are really stiff):
That is why solid axle is preferred for rock crawling over IFS (besides other reasons) it just flexes better out through the rocks.

I have several pics where I have my front tire up on something and it is pretty stiff, but put the back tire up on something and the front flexes out nicely from all the extra weight on it. My ORI's help some, but I think it's because they don't increase in load as rapidly as coils do.

Sounds like you need some softer springs. We flexed out Mark's rig (IDtrucks) and we had it basically teetered on one front tire and one rear tire with the rear in the air (so maximum weight on the front corner) and it wasn't even touching the bump yet! haha His little 4cyl is a bit too light for his eibach springs. When you watch him wheel his front end is stiff as a board most of the time. When he finally gets to SAC it will be a whole new world for him!

I love my IFS too! I used to want to go SFA, but have since found the world of long travel. Plus I live 50 minutes from some of the largest dunes in the US!

Well, either you aren't posing quite right like he is ;) or you are lighter than him. I know he is running some skid plates. Not sure if you are or not.

Prerunner or 4x4? 650 is too much IMO. My truck is a fat pig with a front diff, supercharger, bumpers, sliders, and full skids all the way past the transfer case, and 600 is just right. I have very little preload on the coilovers. First gen prerunners, 500-550 seems to be the sweet spot.
