I mean, if a prerunner could get to where you needed pulled out, that's embarassing, whereas Subaru's awesome AWD can get to many places.

ha ha, go Subby!
i can laugh because i also own a subby. and i bought my taco because subby wouldnt go all the places i wanted to go. i agree that AWD is great but the 3" of ground clearance and lack of skid plate sort of limit what you can do. i learned that the hard way - got a golf ball sized dent in my tranny from a rock.

I drove an 05 STi before my taco. I would have never gave up my subie but I hit 5 cows one night going home and totaled it. The toyota has been a good replacement though

Me too. I miss it sometimes. The funny part was I never got a ticket with it in 4 years and I got one in the Taco 6 months after I got it! I got pulled over countless imes with it but cops loved it. "Your exhaust is kinda loud. Don't change it though. It sounds great."

I know it doesn't look bad, but I couldn't get out. I tried turning the front tires, rocking the truck by going back and forth and even gunned it at the end but no luck.

Had no other choice.

I've proudly been pulled out by a prerunner. I was in deep mud hole and he was on solid(atleast more solid) ground.

This was the first time i had been stuck in the tacoma and fortunately the only time so far. It ticked me off though that i had gone through the same spot several times before a few times that week even and hadn't even had to put it in 4 low. But when i went this time it had rained a tiny bit but nothing significant and i had waited longer to throw it in 4 hi than normal and when i stopped to do it it was just the wrong spot. It was sooo soupy that the rear diff locker had no affect and no matter how much i spun my tires it didnt sink in they just spun. had to wait about 2 hours for someone to come out cause i was the dumbass who decided to go alone.

Muffler underwater, thanks god i had plenty of gas and had just done the rear differential breather snorkel

Me too man. I just power washed it yesterday and vacuumed the inside today.

There's still clay on the inside and outside that I gotta get rid of. Plus I still gotta wash it, because the power wash was only to get the crap off, not to get my truck "clean"

...and then there's the engine bay. I have no idea WTF to do for that.
