This was the first time i had been stuck in the tacoma and fortunately the only time so far. It ticked me off though that i had gone through the same spot several times before a few times that week even and hadn't even had to put it in 4 low. But when i went this time it had rained a tiny bit but nothing significant and i had waited longer to throw it in 4 hi than normal and when i stopped to do it it was just the wrong spot. It was sooo soupy that the rear diff locker had no affect and no matter how much i spun my tires it didnt sink in they just spun. had to wait about 2 hours for someone to come out cause i was the dumbass who decided to go alone.

Me too man. I just power washed it yesterday and vacuumed the inside today.

There's still clay on the inside and outside that I gotta get rid of. Plus I still gotta wash it, because the power wash was only to get the crap off, not to get my truck "clean"

...and then there's the engine bay. I have no idea WTF to do for that.

Uhhhh NO. I know, I know. I was doing fine before and after that moment - well except for the new mod. Haha. It was the rear bumper last time and a rock to help this time. I wonder what will happen next time.
Derek, get this, I hit also hit the skid plate when coming down a steep grade. It sounded so bad and wondered what new damage I had done. I was told..."it's just the skid plate." I looked after I was done with the obstacle and lo and behold it was ok just a little dirty and it moved upward some, but I was able to move it back down.

The things required to pull bitches
I hate sand sometimes. word of advise don't gun it after you are stuck. it makes it worse to get pulled out. I learned it the hard way. I stopped in some soft sand because my friend stopped infront of me. well when we started to move I wasn't able to go anywhere my back end was spinning and it wouldn't go. after rocking it and going foward to reverse nothing. I was starting to get mad and floored it. bad idea, since now i dug my self in and made it harder for my friend to pull me out. He was on some semi hard pack but he barely had the traction to get me out. Eventually I was able to get out by a yank.

Not a fair statement, the tires look stock on 2nd gen, and on your 1st gen, well, they're obviously equipped for that terrain.

expensive was right! took the sexy gal out for dinner to a steakhouse, then go-karting, a movie, then I was still revved up from karting, I had to drive like an idiot! The worst part was I coulda made it on the other side of the road, less of a ditch! Cocky turned humble real quick! lol
