it hadnt rained in weeks and i got drunk over there talkin mad shit about how badass my truck is lol

the worse thing about it is he pulled me out with his brand new 06 tundra he just got lol

 

simple solution. " bet your tundra couldn't make it" then tow him out with your truck and it badassness will be revived!

Anytime he says he is stuck he is usually bullshitting. He posted a picture a while ago were his truck did not "look" stuck and I questioned how he was stuck. Turns out he was pulling someone back on the trail .

after I took this picture I tried to get myself out one more time and ended up digging myself deeper, my back left tire was at least six inches off the ground before I finally swallowed my pride and call my brother to come pull me out. I swear the thing was close to tipping by the end of it lol

idk about 75* pitch...maybe 45 or 50* but either way that steepness and loose dirt

slopes always seem steeper than they actually read...snowboarding the steeps i am always surprised to hear the actual slope angles after riding them...things that seem near vertical only read 50-60* and at 60* your hand touches the slope side while standing up...

 

that's my rush on the slopes...don't care about the jumps n' shit..give me steep and deep...silverton is my new favorite mountain to ride..

2WD open diff, front subframe 5" off ground..don't ask how it made it through..just a whole lot of 5000RPM power lol..but I just pushed all the mud out of the way for about 1 mile lol..it's like a mile long bog
We don't get enough rain really to make crazy mud bogs..and the dirt around here is hard packed so that doesn't help..

How this has to do with getting stuck thread?
Well after the bog and doing it a few times...headin back into town and my fan belt broke.....LALALALALA
It took hours to replace it..had to dig mud out,cut ac belt off since tensioner was froze..then power steering I had to re tap the block because it was all shitty and wouldn't tension up.


Lalala..oh wait that's my truck parked in Rite-Aid parking lot!!

I literally knocked/pulled/yanked/picked at about 50lbs of mud off that thing lol..

I still have dust and dirt fall in my eyes till this day when I work on it lol..those pictures were taken in March


and that's how I got my Tacoma stuck.....in a parking lot.

 

If the one pic is 45 degree, wonder what this one would be....(from top looking down to botom of approach)

 

usually the only people that slide down a hill when backing down dont know how to back down hills.

if you lock up your brakes, then be prepaired(sp?) to slide and most likely have your front end come around.

this is me stuck in La Grange off road park, my buddy said oh look that mud bog looks shallow and dried up......definately was not, had to walk out of the park to find someone to pull me out..
this was my old taco havent been stuck in the new one yet

oh and the next couple r in the same park but when the open diff with out a locker almost kicked my ass

 

I effed up and stopped while I was in the middle of it. At least I got to use my winch for the first time.
