    the reason it became an issue is because you mentioned powerlines

    powerline trails are typically private property owned or leased by the power companies...so even if you own the surrounding land...youd still be trespassing by using them for wheeling purposes

    The only issue is I was trying to raise awareness about offroad etiquette.

    Tread Lightly is near and dear to me. I am one of a handful of Tread Lightly trainers in WA and it is painful to see areas being closed down from abuse.

    I hope everyone is calmed down and this isn't meant to bash or berate anyone. We would like to point out that we as the TW staff does not endorse or condone activity that could be construed as having a negative impact to people, land or the environment.
