just wanted to share with yall a little of what the mighty 4 cyl 4x2 can do....

my buddy, has a 87 jeep wagoneer 4x4..its basically the same damn thing as a grand cherokee except older....well anyways, when he went mudding at his trails..he thought he could clear a small creek embankment..well he thought wrong....he ended up going nose deep into the other side of the embankment and stick in about 8 inches of mud at a 45 degree angle...me being left to help him, tried to dig him out..but it didnt work...so i decided to see if i could pull him out...sure enough after 3 tries...and 2 ropes later....he got out...all i can say, is toyota..even your smallest trucks can pull out jeeps :D

I pulled a jeep out of a creek once. Tacomas are AWESOME. Why the hell did he think he could clear a creek?

    And 87 Wagoneer?

That's like a barge on wheels. He probably did it because he doesn't give a shit about the vehicle. They are BIG HEAVY TANKS.

My jeep had Dana 44 axles under it from an 89 Grand Wagoneer.

You should ask the guy if you can buy his Dana 44 front axle - so you can put it under your tacoma (solid axle swap).

Very nice!! Those Wagoneer axles are the perfect fit under these trucks. It's amazing you can still find them.

But I must say...what's up with the A/T tires? :D:D

My GF's little brother got his F250 sunk up to mid wheel in the mud today and of course I was able to pull him out. Sadly some onlooker said that we may have needed to get a bigger truck to pull him out. The sad part is he was driving an 80's model taco!!!!! So I rolled my eyes and extracted the big lug like pullin a tooth!:D Tacoma for life!
