That may be true but the OP has a 95.5 4 cyl and they HAVE a distributor cap and rotor + plug wires. Though the OP's specs say his truck has a "V 4" so that might be different........

I would suggest getting another skid/splash pan first but on another note, I had a rain coat on my distributor on my 82. Maybe you can find something like that for yours. Here's a pic of it on the old tank...............

Nevermind the krusty header, lol. The jacket just snapped on around the wires and cap.

he said he has a '95

If I were you, I would learn a little bit more about your truck before you go offroading. Like the guy above said, you are going to get raped by repair shops fixing little stuff you break while offroading. If you don't know how to fix it, don't do stuff that might break it.

Yup 95', The guys over at Big O' Tires see me all the time so they usually give me pretty good discounts, my whole family goes there. Also I have a guy who repairs stuff, so fixing isnt really a big deal.

Does anyone know who makes pretty good skid plates? there was a post on the forums of a pretty cool skid plate with a cutout of TRD but he wasnt making any for 1st gen trucks.. I called up toyota today and asked them what it would cost to replace the OEM one and it was around 300 dollars. So I looked online and found this one and pretty much the only one that would replace the factory skid plate..... and I can get this one for like 220.. Any of you guys farmiliar with how this one holds up or any other recommendations?
