Its one of the biggest tourist attractions in Ontario, hence the extra costs. But definitely worth it if your from Kansas. Do you plan on coming over the border? If so, i could recommend other sights or spots to check out.
All in all, sounds like you got a great road trip planned! I'm jealous, but plan on doing my own sometime soon. Have fun!
Definately we are going to cross the border. I grew up in upstate NY (Rochester area) and went to Canada all the time. I'm taking the wife back who has never been to Canada, so I thought we'd cross at the falls, then make our way through Ontario and come back in near Vermont. Anything you could suggest along the way would be awesome!

I can't really think of anything else right now...but I'll keep pondering on it.
Thanks. I moved away from Upstate when I was in the 7th grade so I'm not so familiar with sights which I did not grow up around. Please fill me in on anything you think of.
