Well, what you don't see is a busted 3rd on the 1st gen with the 1700 lb camper! It has 33's with a now broken 4.10 ring gear (it does have a marlin crawler box!). Then while it was being tugged out we busted a tie rod.

I like the Armor Tech stuff

http://s983.photobucket.com/albums/a...Rear%20Bumper/

And the New Redesigned All Pro Stuff

Another favorite of mine is the All Pro tube rear (I think they will make one if they have 5 or 6 orders).

Paul, since you were concerned about the news reports trying to scare people from going south, maybe describe to the TW gang just how many banditos tried to rob us, or how many crooked cops tried to arrest us, or how bad we were treated and fed at local businesses... How about the highways and driving conditions? You provide an unbiased opinion here compared to me. Would you be comfortable (now) going back to Baja without a caravan? I hope to show you more of the sites and off roading in Baja!

Shell Island is next up! ...

Okay, thanks for the links... I saw the prices posted by Kevin. Seems fair, but what would frieght be to California? Any Southern California sources for Armor Tech or another similar bumper?

Thanks again!

Yeah regarding going to Mexico. I am very comfortable with going again. I will go down again sometime soon!

Like most things those gosh darn boogie men creep into most minds... My most recent trip into Baldwin Park was probably more dangerous than our trip to Mexico!
