Side steps/sliders
Hope I'm in the right site to ask this question. If not then yell and scream...

After a 3'' lift it's become apparent that a step would be handy to access my truck. Sucks being short sometimes....I checked out Avid Offroad 1 3/4" tubular side step which suits my needs perfectly. Though I don't really flex my truck, having the Avid Offroad style step bar would work better than nerf bars and plastic steps - they're ugly and look like crap.
Without viewing all 30 plus vendors listed on this site, anyone recommend a particular vendor or is Avid Offroad the way to go?

Thanks for any suggestions!

I live in the Tucson area also and I have read nothing but good things about Avid. That's were I plan on getting my slidders.

Vail huh? Houghton and Bilby for me. You answered one of my concerns - if Avid was a good company to order from and receive the product in a reasonable time frame.
Anybody else share their experience with Avid?

Your not far from me. I'm at Sonoita HWY and Sahuarita. Let us know what you get.

I'm ordering the step slider from Avid Offroad next week (9/4). They meet my needs and also afford additional protection for light off-roading. Avid is located in Gilbert - when completed I'll drive there (1 1/2 hr) - and pick them up. Will save $$$ on shipping. I'll keep you informed on the process.
