Jason (DOT) and i took a trip up to Twin Cone today to get out on some trails...

trail brings you up to the top of North Twin Cone, approx 12,300ft

we had some snow fall friday-saturday afternoon, so we had some nice snowy peaks as a back drop for the trip...

here are some pics i took today..

the first obstacle we came across, an optional line with a couple ledges/rocks that cause some troubles

gnarly option on the left...though about it but there was a large hole that would have caused some big issues and the other line to get around the hole was not made for 33" tires..

Great trip and loving both the 4runner and taco, that's no place for cute wheels for sure.
How much did it took the whole run?

Nice pics. I ran this trail a few months ago and was fairly disappointed, there was very little of the trail that was not a fire road, let alone difficult. There were the two gardens that had some very difficult lines, which you mentioned and had pics of, but other than that, fairly straight forward.

That wasn't really what let me down the most, rather the rating on Trail Damage, which rated it a 5/6, so I expected more difficult sections. I would say it was a 3/5, but i am sure the snow made it a bit slick.
