I think that was a great post. You bring up some very compelling issues.

I'm having a hard time following you, then again I'm sober J/K. Are you saying you think the majority will just start to lean to the left or right and things will go on like that for a while and then swing back in the other direction as time goes on?

I sorta' hope that's the way it works out. It would be much better if everyone just agreed with me though.

America sucks and Obama fucked everything up because he was street racing his Raptor with a body lift?

    :locked:

On a side note, I don't give a shit where America as a whole will be. I'm guessing it's going to be in the same exact spot, give or take a few inches...

    My opinion:
the "left" and the "right" are a big problem with our government.
I'm pretty sure our founding fathers didn't intend to have 2 parties that fight tooth and nail against each other to force their point of view on the rest of their budding nation.
the republicans have good points about some things and idiotic points about others.
and the same can be said for democrats. That is the bottom line.
another issue is paid lobbys. do you think our founding fathers intended for money to drive the decisions made by the government? i think not. the simple truth in this is that it does. and thats where the problems arise. its not whether its right or wrong, its who its going to piss off to the point that they stop sending in their "contributions" to said party.
that being said, i dont see anything getting better in the USA anytime soon. and unfortunately we are going to leave this mess for our children, and their children, to deal with. and looking at most kids growing up now, the country is most certainly doomed.
The problem doesn't neccesarily lie with what we are leaving our kids, but with the kids we are leaving
    I am an independant.
