Hey all, I need a little help here. I tried a search and din't really come up with the information I was looking for. I am having twins in November, and I will have to rock TWO car seats in my double cab. Was wondering if anyone has had any experience with REAR FACING car seats in their double cab. I know one will fit in the center, but how about having to put one behind each seat. Any pics would be great. I would hate to have to get rid of the Tacoma just because of car seats. Thanks!

Should work. But you might have to move the seats up a little. Also depends on the car seat, Some are bigger than others. I have a full car seat and a rear facing car seat in mine with no issues, The rear facing seat is behind the passenger seat, that seat needs to move up a tad.

Oh and congrats on the twins. :)

    It's the wife's T4R so it's stock
Gonna be really tight behind the seats... are you short? better hope so. Even in the Silverado, we had the rear facing seat behind the passenger seat - only my wife could ride in the front pax seat comfortably...

HA! No, I am tall and fat. I'm gonna be driving down the road like and 80 year old woman. The air bags wont even be able to go off in an accident because my gut will be too tight against the steering wheel. This is what I was afraid of.

Dont worry, 2 will fit just fine. I have triplets coming in 2 months and have already test fit 3 rear facing car seats in there all at once. We have the Chicco key fit 30's - I highly recommend!

Yeah, I know. But the Tacoma is almost paid off and I was really looking forward to no car payment. I don't want to get a new vehicle if I dont have to. If I do, I will be getting the Sienna mini van.

Granted its a tight fit and you can't mack daddy the front seats way back, but its pretty good fit for a truck.

NRA FAN - have the wife upgrade to the primary baby-hauler and keep your truck. (made my wife get a Honda pilot) it will fit the seats if you ever have to use it to go somewhere with them. Congrats, by the way!

Lemme load it up and get a pic.......

I will get pics up today. I have one in the middle. I'm 5'11"/234 and it would be tight for me with it behind my seat

You'll be just fine. Just schooch the seat up a bit and lift the steering wheel. Be sure to enjoy the leg room when you're riding minus the squirts. Congrats bud!!!!!!
