    damn!!!! I have only seen a motor come out of a car once... that was after a ford exploder hit a guard rail so hard it pretty much pushed the engine through the firewall and inside the cab. yes the driver was drunk....and very dead.

    Oh dang, that's the first time I've heard of a drunk driver gettin it. Usually it always ends up the other way around. Either way that's just bad.

    yeah. I was dropping my friends off (ironically i was DD that night) and rolled up on that on my way home. it was a pretty nasty site. I just had to look at the dude to know there was no need to do my first responder stuff.

    Ok, sure looks like a 3 to me. The angle of the backdoor, the indentions on the doors and the rear back side window. It seems from you original post you weren't sure.

    Nope definitely a mazda 3

    note the body line at the bottom of the doors, black plastic on rear bumper, tailpipe on the driver side, wheel style, rear door windows.

    x2 those are also mazda wheels. Its a hatch. I have a 3 sedan and kick myself in the ass every time I see a hatch for not getting it.

    Wow. Regardless of brand, the car did well.

    When I was 13 (many moons ago) I witnessed a pickup hit a tree and it shed the motor/transmission too. I think the truck breaking apart is why the driver walked away.
