Knowledge of AS9100B OR C?

So we were in need of a Quality Manager at our work place and we are in the aerospace industry. Weve gone through 2 quality managers already since ive been here i guess they thought the past QA managers didnt know there job. They kinda just threw me into this position and ive only been with this company for only 1+...I have no clue how to do this job ive never had any experience as a QA manager im am scared and lost and have no idea where to start. Does anyone have anyone have experience with the Aerospace industry i.e familiar with the AS9100B or C , internal auditing etc......I know there is training for this type of stuff but my company is being cheap and dont want to send me....so im stuck trying to get information from others who have been working here for 5+ years and or browsing the net. your help would be greatly appreciated.
