Have you ever gotten a text from someone you don't know?

I got a text today. Didn't have a clue who the person was or what they were talking about. It appears they have a wrong number and don't realize it. I pasted the conversation together for easier viewing. I still have no idea what this was about:

 

lol, you should call the number and tell them whats going on.

 

lol! i actually got two text messages on monday from someone i don't know... the first was: "Can you do me a favor?" and the second was: "Do you want to see Hans Zimmer with me on Wednesday?"

Pretty weird.

 

I've actually sent out a text to the wrong number and it was some girl from Utah that text me back. I said sorry for texting to the wrong number but she just kept asking questions about me as if she was interested in me!!! I was like WTF?!?! I asked for her pic when she sent it, I deleted her from my book!!!

 

You should have said hell yes each time.

Yeah, I don't fool with it at all, that's just the first thing that came to mind that made any kind of sense.

 

I used to get the most random phone calls on a daily basis when I had my old cell number. It was 234-5678 go figure.

Hey guys heres a good little story...

On christmas 2008 I worked on a voluntary program to round up toys for kiddos...long story short, I gave my cell # to a lady (30 yrs old) who had signed up to recieve toys for a clinic full of kids.

Christmas comes and goes....it's now Jan. 2009. I'm at school registering for the fall semester and I get a text from some random number...some kinda sex joke....so I reply

Me:who is this
Her:Im a girl, are you a guy?
Me:yes, who is this?
Her:I'm single, are you?
Me:who is this?

I thought it was one of the guys from work fuckin with me...

Me:Ima call you!
Her:right now?

So I call her, and I kinda remember her voice cuz she had a strong accent.

We speak for a few minutes and she's just asking questions about me...and finally she says "I want to see you so I can remember you.". she gives me her address and I end up going to her place after work where we did the dirty deed...

I've got a few over the years. I've had some annoying ones where it wasn't even that they had a wrong number they kept saying "someone" gave them my number and kept asking me shit.

I did accidentally text someone once when I put a friend of mines number in wrong. We quickly cleared up the misunderstanding and that was it.

My grandmother got a couple from the same number and I finally texted them back sayin they had the wrong number then they started calling thinking their friend was fucking with them I'm like seriously, don't call this number, my grandmother isn't your dawg, yo.

 

I had to change it due to to the prank calls I received. At least just about all of the random calls I got were from girls so it was pretty entertaining for a bit. I had some old lady call me a few times in a couple years thinking I was her grandson.

 

damn I feel like a dumb ass for asking that question earlier haha. Shoulda paid more attention.....but I'm so broke I could barely afford to do so.
