Used to be big into gaming but I decided I'd rather spend the money I make on my truck than trying to keep up with the latest video cards and working on my truck beats sitting at home playin video games like your average knuckle head teenager..haha. PR and BF2 were still sweet games tho.

Oh damn. I love the background, but what do you mean it wasn't recognizing all 4 cores? Does XP not recognize multiple cores? lol.

Well, i wouldnt know anyways, i only have a dual core.

1.) hit the print screen button on your keyboard (mine says Prt Scr)

2.) Open paint (start--->run---> type in: mspaint.exe ---> hit enter)

    3.) Control + V (pastes)

4.) File...save as. And save where you want too, then attach to your post!

How are you liking windows vista? Any problems? lol

rainmeter is the program that does the overlays. you can see from my first pic in that thread the overlay only had the first two cores with the graphs (top right hand corner)...then in the pic i linked to it was reading all 4 cores.

At first Vista sucked b/c none of my programs worked on it, but that only lasted for about 2 months. I haven't had one single issues since. Its probably been the most reliable operating system I have ever had!

I think, if you had like 3 different epic angles that would've made it better than it already is :)

Damn alot of yall have amazing desktops..as far as vista goes, it was a huge nightmare for me and when windows 7 came out i thought that would fix everything. Espcially because Windows 7 RC2 worked wonderfully with my sound card. But once the retail version came out my sound went to shit. In both windows 7 and vista (with the latest service packs and drivers) everytime id load a web page while have anything playing audio running or open something, or do something on my computer my audio would get all crackly and full of static. Sometimes it would just crash all together and i'd have to restart the Windows and Creative Audio service, that very seldom worked so i would have to reboot. I finally got fed up and just wipped the windows 7 partition and installed Ubuntu 10.04 so now i dual boot Windows XP Pro and Ubuntu 10.10. I hardly even boot into windows xp anymore too, only time i ever do is to copy music to my iphone.

I think both microsoft and creative labs' are at fault here. Microsoft reworked the audio architecture in Windows 7/Vista and Creative Labs refused to release a properly working driver. I have the SoundBlaster X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatality Pro.
