I have been to the Bro motherland!

so my wife and i took a trip to orange county (anaheim, ca) to visit my family for thanksgiving. when we got into california, my wife asked why there were so many trucks with the front end lifted higher than the back end. she also asked why their tires seemed so small for the lift they had. she also asked about all the "flame" stuff on the trucks (painted flames, grills shaped like flames, flame door handles, etc...). i told her that they are "Bros".

so, on one of the days we had a bunch of arends to do and while we were out, we took pictures of a bunch of the bro trucks we saw.....

this guy had more than a 6 inch lift. i would guess 9+ inch lift on 35's. (and the front was higher than the rear )




same with this guy. hugh lift, small tires, and a rock star grill




at least the proportion was better on this truck.

this guy had the outline of flames, reflective stickers, and front end higher.





it is amazing how the style of truck mods change as soon as you get into so cal. so many have that "bro" style. we also saw so many more than what i posted. to each his own, i guess

 

hell ya man hahaha i've been going around for prices on a lift and they all ask me the same question. You want the Cali lift?

lets just say that i lived in so cal for 35 years and i am glad to now be in colorado

 

a guy down the street from me has a chevy 2500 hd and he has a 6 inch lift with 33 inch tires. the funny thing is, is that he is like 50 years old

 

I don't like the front being higher than the rear, but that F-150 looks great!

I've actually got a slight bro lean going on with my truck.. I need to replace the stock shackles (they're nasty looking anyway)....

 

I agree 99% of those are gay. But this Excursion is SICK. I want a lifted diesel Excursion so bad.

anyhow, you wont offend those of us from norcal for making fun of the "bro trucks" .... although guys up here do some stupid stuff as well ... personally i was born and raised here and cant stand to live here, i spend every week applying to jobs in neighboring states
