He is awesome! "The single greatest Olympic champion of all time" now that he has 10 gold medals. He's not finished yet, either. He'll win several more this time, and he's young enough he could be back in London in 2012.

    He's simply amazing.

What an amazing athlete Michael Phelps is, here's rep for him! :D
Seriously, what I liked the best is how intense the guy is, cheering on his teammates & gets it done with class.

Then you have poor Mark Spitz. He was the greatest of all time but with all records, it had to be done. Mark is upset that know one invited him to be at the Olympics:(. Poor Mark, he should have gone just to cheer Michael on!
I really like Mark, I just wish he could have been more gracious.

Yeah, I saw that Spitz story. Funny thing is that he was in Hong Kong when the story came out. Why would anybody invite him? The Olympics isn't about him, they used to be about him, now they are about Phelps. Just buy a ticket like the rest of us ex-gold medal winners.

MM, I had to go google Spitz (yeah I remember his legendary photo with all that bling!) and what happened? Too much chlorine or what???? WTF? Demeaning??? The guy doesn't have a clue!

Go Phelps, I want more bling!!

It shows our age, but I remember watching Spitz in the 72 Olympics.
