I fly for work... everything. Prefer fixed wing to rotary wing. Unfortunately we cant enforce the law or track people from anything that cant hover :(

Drill holes in the sky in a 172 for fun. Used to tow banners and fly float planes, never made any money doing either!

Funny you should mention HAATS. I was preparing the Georgia/Alabama guard guys to go up to Montana and get HAATS trained up there. Their IP (0-3) had just finished training some Canadians. Absolutely fantastic facility but something fell thru the cracks. Not sure what but it was above my pay grade (CW5) so off I went to another unit to spool them up. I retire after 33 years on the last day of January.....

HAATS is excellent training as it keeps you out of the box of out of altitude, out of power and out of idea's.....Why don't you test out to see if you can get into the Army's high school to flight school program as a Warrant?

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
Yeah, my dad has a couple of planes, always tried to get me and my brother's to fly, none of us took an interest until our later years when we don't have time. I was actually going through my old trunk last night and found my 3rd Class Flight Medical from 1996 when I began flying, of course gave it up probably by the end of that year. Now that I really want to fly again, I just don't have the time.

I have flow most of single engine planes out there, including the acrobatic citrabia. I have not flown in a few years now, but my go for 2011 is start flying again. I have around 500 hours of flight time. All fun, not commercial.
