I had lego city when I was a kid and I built on my building for years parents buying me more legos. Its still up 14 years later. I even used double wall construction and put toilet paper inbetween to keep it warm I know weird huh lol. The building was so strong I could stand on it. Yeah hard core lego fanatic

LEGO's and they are now on 2nd gen. My kids had them and now the grandkids "create" with them....with a mix of Duplo's...

Same thing goes for the Tootsie toys and Matchbox's that are from my DAYS ;) even though my better half thinks if we sell these I could buy "TACO" toys.....

legos all the way! still have all of my old sets. my manager's girlfriend is an assistant manager at our local lego store and he was explaining the money to be made in buying expensive sets now, holding on to them for a year or so (unopened) and selling them on ebay for double what he payed. because they only release the set once every few years or maybe only once. for instance he was talking about the millennium falcon which apparently can be sold for $$$$$$$$

My childhood consisted of two activities: riding my bicycle and playing with my Lego. I think the lego skills have followed me into my adulthood. My 18 month old daughter plays with her duplo daily, I encourage it.

legos all the way! i still got a huge 18 gallon tub of them sitting in my parents' attic. sometimes when i'm in target/walmart, i walk through the lego aisle to see what cool new sets they've developed. i can't believe how expensive they've gotten these days!
