You do know it's very dangerous to eat hamburger that isn't fully cooked, right?

Love Five Guys, and love that they have malt vinegar for their fries . . .

I get the little cheeseburger (2 patties is just too much for me) with everything but tomato and mushrooms. I especially like their pickle chips and grilled onions.

This thread is making me hungry.

Steak is not bad for you to eat rare, because when you make hamburger, you are grinding up all the salmonella, E.coli, and other harmful bacteria on the surface of the steak and mixing it all together. This means the bad stuff is now all in the meat. When you cook the hamburger well done, it will kill the harmful things in the middle of the burger. With steak, nothing is ground up or mixed together. All the bad stuff is cooked off on the surface of the steak.

tar tar is not cooked at all. and im sad to hear that you are eating steak that has had salmonella or e. coli even before it was cooked. whose your butcher thats just plain nasty. Fresh beef shouldn't have any problem with it whether ground or cut into steaks.
