You might have an arguement about no paint, but I would say you were parked in one of the two loading zones. Maybe one for each storefront. Possible each marking the spot behindnd where each sign can be read through the windshield. I'm sure the fuzz on here will gladly give their opinion.

You can try...The question "Is it worth your time and effort for 42 bucks?" is one only you can answer.

    They are in Phoenix.

But get this there is a speed trap up near this little piece of shit town call SNOW FUCKING FLAKE!

And the have one at the end of the freeway just as you enter town. You barely have time to slow. Here is the kicker, I had just gotten my new, BIGGER tires thrown on and my speedometer is off by three (3) mph. and I though I was at 64 which is legal and I was at 67, (2) mph over the ten allowable before the light triggers. So nabbed.

Shit, I am not paying they have to serve me, they won't so...

possibly, the only thing is that these signs bring alot of confusion, where exactly does the the "load zone" start and stop? the curbs weren't painted, there were no arrows saying between signs or "within (25 feet) of sign"...i saw the 2 signs and assumed it was between the 2 signs...i guess which only makes an ass out of me..

I'd guess to say the Loading Zone was between those 2 handrails. Which puts you in the zone :(

    What I would do:

Mail the ticket in, along with payment - and a letter asking for someone to explain to you how you were wrong so you know for future reference. Also include a link to this thread so they can see the poll, and see that their system obviously sucks since there's such a wide range of people saying yes/ no / IDK

That's called no contest, and they will bill you anyway.

I'm 90% sure you are in a loading zone. The reason:
-The sign does not say "from here to X", so this means the entire block
-the sign does not have arrows indicating the begin and end, so this means the entire block
-loading zones don't need to be striped, especially when they are multipurpose as the sign indicates
-The sign said you had 3 minutes to pick up a passenger and leave.

You were just un-lucky and maybe the cop doesn't like tacos.
