fill up your tank now!

im hearing gas is goin way up cause of hurricane gastav so fill up now! any excuse to get money out of us these days.

I hear ya.... I've got a little over 1/2 tank. Won't hurt me to fill up....

Right now I have drove 232 miles on a little over 1/2 a tank of Premium. Got about 12 Gallons of Premium in the cans in the garage, I'm good to go.

 

OK. So you fill up now with a half tank left. Then on your next fill-up gas is 10 cents more for a gallon. So maybe you’ve saved about $1. Not a big deal as far as I can tell.

 

I fill up 3 times a week so at the rate I drive it makes not much difference but if you have ever had to evacuate an area due to one of these storms it will make you be prepared. I hate to walk...and even more in the rain!

 

I'm not so much worried about the price as the avaliability. I just got back from town and 4 stations are out of fuel, the one I used to fill my gas cans only had premium and it ran out at 19 gallons. Hell we still have a few days before we even know where this storm will go.

 

Gas at my station went down two cents today.


I'm waiting one more day to see if it goes down two more, then filling up.

I was really hoping we'd catch some savings at least until after the elections, but I guess Mother Nature has other ideas.....

 

Yeah....I've beenw atching it drop in the FL Panhandle area 2 cents a day for the past three weeks running- and then yesterday it went up 10 cents.

They've evacuated the non-essential personnel from the Gulf Oil rigs and that gave them an excuse to bump it back up...see how much we'll let them jack the price up before it's too much again...=\

 

filled up yesterday....its gone up 20 cents in 2 days in the Houston, East Texas area
