That truck is cool in all but i wonder what a Tacoma could do? I have king shocks w/ reservoir all around on my 2010 tacoma but its too much of an investment to do that kind of driving. I really wonder how it would keep up though?? not to mention put 10k into a Tacoma and you wont be disappointed!

Exactly my thoughts. The major thing for people is the lack of effort, and the warranty. Why spend hour of research and effort when I can drive to the dealer once and take a beast home.

very true about the supercharger and suspension. Everyone on this site is going to bash on ford, even me. It is a tacoma forum, not a ford forum. In my opinion tacomas are extreamly more reliable than fords will ever be and the looks of a tacoma is amazing :D! But ford is having fun trying to improve their name.

    Because I don't like rangers? :p

From the new technology, and engineering that has gone into the entire new ford lineup in recent years, it's clear that they are pushing hard to be the best, I think they are succeeding. and compare the new fords to the new tundra... ford wins IMO.
There are plenty of tests to prove it. I'm not bashing toyota, I just think ford is the leading auto manufacturer currently as far as technology, and innovation goes.

sick vid, although the camera angles at EVERY jump was annoying. They tried to make it look like it got massive amounts of air when if you looked at it from another angle it wouldnt be that impressive. As far as "long travel" wouldnt the raptor be more of a mid-travel?
not bashing the raptor, its a sick truck although 90% of people who buy them wont use them

good stuff, I'm not trying to argue either, just chatting.

I agree that ford quality USED to be poor, my tacoma vs 01 f150, I'll take my truck all day long, in every aspect.

I just think in the last few years, Ford has seen an opportunity to be huge, and they are taking it!

You're right, it is prob more of a mid travel, I don't know too much about that kind of stuff.

I am really intrigued by the ford SYNC, seems like it will keep a lot of people safe, and sure would be a treat to have that sort of stuff in your car every day.
I'd also say the f150 on the fly locking rear diff is pretty crazy, from the video's I've seen, you can lock the rear even while moving and spinning a tire, I haven't done a ton of research as to how exactly it works, and if it's going to be strong enough, but it's a great idea!
