    Soon....
Not sure how many of you have heard the news, but here's the story:
    http://www.abc3340.com/Global/story.asp?S=14044295
and here's the update about the guy being arrested:
    http://www.abc3340.com/Global/story.asp?S=14048982

Nutshell: Man calls in to Paul Finebalm's show back in January saying he had poisoned the Toomer's oaks with Spike herbicide, also announcing a classic "roll tide" at the end. Auburn officials get soil samples and the test comes back positive for the Spike, lowest amount detected being 0.78ppm (usually this stuff is measured in parts per billion). They have now arrested the guy, which he better be thankful for before someone else came to take revenge on him.
If anyone doesn't know, these trees are a huge icon for the university and the Auburn Family, and will be a great loss. I do not blame the entire Alabama fan base, this was obviously one crazy person that took things too far.
(Please keep the "it's just a tree" comments to yourselves)

I'm a huge Bama fan but this ain't right. This guy is apparently deranged. If he was that mad about Auburn beating Bama in the Iron Bowl, he should have been poisoning trees at Saban's house for blowing that lead we had at the half!
