    .
The price we pay for living in the prettiest state in the union, the most expensive gas ($4 a gal premie in SF), the knarliest real estate prices, the most dangerous freeway on the planet (880 in Oakland), one of the most dangerous cities on the planet (Oakland again), everything is way more expensive, A cop saw a baton in my truck a month ago and I spent three days in county for it (no sense of humor) so yeah, I fucking love it here!

Don't tell the cops, but I carry a machette right between the center concle and the seat. The three cops I've dealt (here in colorado) with either haven't seen it or don't care. Its not meant to be used on them.

eh some places are nice but i hate the bay area right now. too much crime and too much money. as soon as i have enough cash im outta here and living in auburn (hopefully). but the baton thing sucks. ive had a bat in my truck before and been pulled over and the cop has never said anything. that shit makes me paranoid tho since the pocket knife i carry isnt legal in california because its spring assisted. and my dad bein a cop has told me that if he saw that on someone he would definately arrest them. fuckin cali but your right its the price we pay

Which knife? I have a Gerber that is spring assisted but you open it by the blade, and I bought it at an REI in cali and its supposed to be legal.

im front the north east, cali has some stupid BS laws for sure. but ive never seen such an awesome place for offroading. So vast and beautiful. I can go snow wheeling play in the desert and do some heavy duty rock crawling all in the same day. I like it here.

Im in big bear. Have some mud flaps you can barrow.

its a smith and wesson. it opens by the thumb stud because i removed this switch on the back of the knife that also sprung the blade open cus it was too much like a switchblade. i mean the only reason my dad said he would is cus they used to arrest gang members for that when he was on the gang task force just to rattle their cages. i dont think many cops will ask to see my knife unless i am like causing problems or something

it scares the shit outta my girlfriend. first time she opened it i warned her it would spring out. ive had it for less than 24 hours. she opens it springs she drops it. luckily it landed grip first and not blade first so it didnt bend the tip. to this day she has me open it and hand it to her haha

4 bucks a gal for premium? I pay that for regular at the base gas station, in town its higher! I do live on an island but come on Alaska has the damn pipeline so gas should be cheaper right? Not...:(

I was on a ride along with a cop that picked up a kid for having a spring assisted knife in CO. I stay away from those things! Not worth risking getting locked up.
