i call bs on this. it just doesn't make any physics sense even though it looks super real. anybody have any valid contradictions, personal pics, or support on the matter? ive seen stuff like this on the internet before and never bought it, this one is just the most convincing one ive ever seen. . . if this is a repost than my apologies.

i mean when you have too much spare time and you see something like that you kind of have to try. . . but i still don't know what he did in the video to make it look like it worked. just confuses me.

I thought (before watching it) that he'd have just done a cut scene and switched the water with clear jello. I thought that's exactly what he did RIGHT up until he had his hand over it and it spilled all over the place. I didn't see a cut at that point either but he did have a slight blur a second before that. No idea how he did that with the camera but it came out cool as fuck.

Liquids conform to their container. No container, no containment, then water conforms to the shape of the countertop. Water tension holds the water in an upside down cup.
Video manipulation can be pretty convincing.

In the physical world we live in, that is not possible. Videos like that are made so people like you spend hours trying to recreate them :D

Look, from the very first look at this it's obviously fake due to physics. I don't think anyone will argue that. I'm just trying to figure out how he faked it. He did a very good job.

Haven't tried this but I wouldn't be surprised at all if it works.

When I get bored at work, I read about physics. I wasn't dedicated enough in college to major in it (didnt want to work really hard for the grades ) but have always been fascinated, so I try to be well-read and learn as much as i can.

If you want to see more stuff that you might not believe possible, look up super cooling and super heating. Also, superfluidity:

hours? negative. i know the physics of it arent allowed, but yeah i tried on a cooler lid in the bathtub a few times to see what would happen, why not?. . . now one that is cool and does work - fill up a gallon zip lock bag with water and stab it with a pencil through one side into the other, won't leak a drop of water (until you pull the pencil out).

but back to the vid, yeah i don't know how managed to make it look so real.
