Practically, a Duramax Crew Cab 4x4. If I ever got rid of my Tacoma it'd only be cause I need something with more capacity.

If I were given free reign, I'd get the Bugatti. Plenty of room to sell and get my Duramax, a new Tacoma with lots of aftermarket goodies, a fun daily driver and a new garage to house them all.

This is actually my dream truck. I've wanted one since I was 15. Took 10 years to get it, but I got one. If I won the Powerball or came into money, I'd likely keep my truck.

Anyone remember the Landmaster from Damnation Alley? I would go for one of those!

Closer to reality, if they ever make a diesel Tacoma or bring the Diesel Hilux to the US, I would definitely get one!

    neglect, mostly.
wow, i click accidentally his this thread in my CP and im quoted from March. im famous!! lol. . . but seriously, that's some neat math and economics. i love econ. anyway, what i meant when i wrote that (with the exception from volvo instead of volkswagen, which i admitted that mistake if you go back) was . . . well kind of what i said. now your math is probably pretty accurate but you're looking at it from the angle of the company trying to clear a profit and consolidate costs, which from the best i understand was never their intention. they just wanted the fastest car ever, period. volkswagon has billions of dollars. and a hand built multi year, customized, state of the art, low production, vehicle when all the cost are split up cost a hell of a lot of money.

i wasn't trying to infer that there was a german car dealer out there that could show me 7.5 million dollars worth of stuff on every car. but the way the info was presented to me was that after all of the time, research, development, custom production line, labor, limited production, high overhead, specializations, marketing and probably 50 other factors that all went into making a car that powerful to where someone could actually buy it resulted into that billion dollar cost to the company. for television mind blowingness they just took all those costs and probably divided it per car to make them sound so crazy. which i guess i why i stated it in the short form that i did haha.
