    Why? I say who cares I think it's cool they have the ability to just make random vehicles for shits and giggles. Besides they already had some sort of similar beast they were using for a parts hauler so if someone says hey you can make a new one out of an M3 why not. Besides, I've seen a few people turn BMW's into vehicles like this before. I saw one that actually was executed pretty well, not that I'd want one.

    The chassis rigidity looks to be horrible. Rear spring and shock towers basically have no bracing. In a convertible, at least they can fit a brace behind the rear seats.

    I think it is completely cool because it is completely different. You guys who think it's 'gay' probably just need a testosterone shot. I've been wanting to convert my GTI into something like this but can't figure out how to ensure longitudinal rigidity. Oh well.
