Alright I have to ask. Is it necessary to have played the first one before playing the second, or are they pretty stand-alone?

at least you didn't go from DISH Network HD G4TV to shitty cable standard G4TV. i have a 46 inch led samsung so anything not HD makes me feel like chalkboard to the eyes. (i know i sound like a little bitch but i love my High Definition TV!!!)

not stealing this thread but i have the 6 series samsung and my refresh rate goes up to 120hz. how crazy is it getting used to HD stuff with the faster refresh rate. it took me a few days to make it seem like it wasn't fast forwarding kinda deal.

sounds like we have the same TV. it took me about a week to get use to the crispness. it felt too sharp and jarring, almost like a cheap soap opera. now i could never go back.

for some reason the Samsung (newer one like 6 series and up) only the LED i think have this insanely crisp and clean look to the picture quality. only way i can describe it is, think of the highest resolution picture you've ever seen now imagine that but a movie of it with a quick refresh rate. MIND BLOWN FOR EVER!!!!!!

like seriously no going back ever. not by choice either, you literally will never be able to watch another tv or movie theater without bitching because your TV looks better.

save your money and get a 6 series samsung LED 46inch its plenty big, uber thin and i got mine for $1,399 about so i'm sure you can get one for cheaper in a few months/year.

SORRY OP FOR TAKING OVER YOU THREAD, didn't mean to.

for me it wasn't specifically the TV, but the switch from standard to HD that took getting use to. standard has a "softer" look and is more forgiving to a shaky camera man. HD shows all the camera movements and is way crisper. it just took me a while to get use to it.

    This^^^

First thing I ever saw in a Full HD set up (like hd tv, hd blueray, hd blueray player ect.) was the directors cut "Troy". It was insane, you can see all the extras in the back smiling and laughing their asses off lol
