Well I don't know MD's vehicle code, but it's possible that Ferrari may have a detuned version for the US. For example, the Suzuki Hyabusa from year model 2000 on, has a chip limiter preventing it from going faster than 186MPH. Either case, it only takes a minor chip mod to over-ride US limitations.

I would doubt that the Ferrari would come with anything less than a V12 for the US, so engine size is probably not up for debate.

Oh, your right. When spelling gets in the way of reading, then comprehension drops. In Turpin's case, he writes (spells) like an idiot; therefore...

    Just a layman's view...

    Actually the 360, 430 and 458 are all V8 engines. The 360 is a 3.6L engine, the 430 a 4.3L engine and the 458 is a 4.5L engine

Ferrari usually denotes the engine displacement in the model number's first two digits.

Not to jack the thread, but the 186mph limit is not just a U.S. limitation. It actually was started in Europe because they threatened to stop allowing the importing of "hypersport" motorcycles if the speed race between Suzuki and Kawasaki did not stop escalating. (186mph = ~300kph)
