Ok so on a scale of 1-10.

How much do you hate being dragged along to places you just REALLY dont want to go with your significant other?

Examples: places with their friends, meeting new friends, going to in laws/ parents house, shopping, etc.

I understand that their needs to be balance with relationships and need to meet their friends and family and what not and do things with the, but DAMN it can get annoying....

If you've been in the same place as me with things like this, do you have any type of survivalist tactics to deal with this stuff?

x2. Truck shop, buddies house to check out their new rigs, etc.

But I put 6 because sometimes she takes me to cool as places. (Dinner, or some romantic viewing spot up in the mountains where I can play in the mud in my truck, etc. Thats a win/win right there

I get tired of it, but would rather just go than fight about it. The fight is usually A LOT worst than the place.

    Old guy here...

Believe me, life is too short.

But I bet she was that way when you met her...

If I felt like I was in a situation I hated, I'd be looking for a way out ASAP.

Just got back from one of her work friend's wedding. I didn't want to go but then I stopped and thought, free meal, dancing and a "date" night with her.

I (and we) do not have to deal with it anymore. We moved to Hawaii to get away from her trailer park trash family and my bitchy, over dramatic mother. If they want to visit, we have to say yes and they have to spend thousands to get here. And we live in paradise. Best revenge is living well and away from them.

She does her thing, I do mine. It works great. We do some things togther, but she just dont like taking long walks through the auto parts store. Same with me at Michaels or bed bath & beyond.

Funny, if she asks me to tag along at the mall, I go one direction, she goes another.
