what do you say to Toyota bashers?

what do you say to fools who think you are a pussy b/c you are a toyota guy and not a chevy/ford/dodge redneck - who honestly thinks they are buying a 100% american made vehicle?

i say this... i am buying the most reliable truck/engine in the world. ill put my toyota up against ANY and i mean ANY American made engine and the toyota will outlast it 10 days a week!

but what do you fellas say? ive been meaning to ask...

Other than inbred red necks who believe their 10ft tall ford or chevy is the best thing to have ever happened to the world.

 

my buddy always trys to bust my bails for not "buying american"
even though mine was made in Texas
i just say mine will be running like a champ when im old, and they'll have a couple trucks before i get another one

 

i tell them well mine will last longer! all i have to do is reg maint. lol. and they still say something like jap crap. or made in chin? idk wear the FU** they get that!!!

 

I try not to entertain such ignorance. But if I do say something I also go with

Just ask them how there fuel mileage is... Funny, my local Toyota dealership is overlaoded with full size pick ups that guys are trading in because they cant afford the 300.00 week gas payment, to go along with there 700 month truck payment.

 

My buddys have dodge/chevy/ford they all laugh and say "what a cute little truck" but its cool i still laugh when i fill up the tank, and that still stock my truck can hang with and do better then their trucks that they have dumped a boat load of money into. One actually had some nice things to say about it, and when he heard i had the E locker his eyes got huge lol

Haha yea for the most part this is true! When my boys used to make comments I'd just get on the sand and go 40 while they struggle to dig their trucks out

 

I might bust on mine some here and there with all the little annoying shit I've had with it way too soon but that's only comparing it to my 1982 that I thrashed on for 500k without issue for 27 yrs. I certainly don't talk shit about them comparing them to anything else tho. That'd just be nonsense. I did hear shit while working in 2 different construction trade unions in that time period but I just laughed it off and asked how much of their beer & titty bar money do they spend on repairs and gas and that generally shut down that conversation. Whose truck showed up every day without fail and saved their broke ass shit of multiple occassions? They didn't seem to mind riding in it to the parts places or weren't too embarassed to have it drag their busted ass shit home so they didn't need a wrecker.

the bottom line is toyotas outlast chevy/dodge/ford - 10 days a week. it blows my mind how people still buy them... i dont understand it... THEN they have the balls to talk shit... inconceivable.

 

My dodge buddy was giving me crap when I bought my taco, I told him I would get in my 1999 4Runner with 160k right now and drive it to Florida (from Chicago) would you drive your 2007 Dodge without having the dealership check it out first? He shut up then.
