I bought the shirt at the movie theater in 1994. The kid talking said something about being born in 1996. It hit me like a ton of bricks right there.

I'm so over it. I thought kids had it good these days but compared to the 80's being a kid today blows. Technology is cool but nothing is unique and fun anymore like it was in the 80's.

The only thing that is a lot better is the p0rn these days. I never was on board with 70's/80's bush p0rn.

Wish I would of saved some of my shirts (anything else for that matter) from when I was a kid.

Watching the show The Goldbergs makes me really miss that shit. They wear shirts I had, have toys I had....I'm thinking "damn I had that, and I remember that"

OZ I think you misread the title of this thread.

    It's the "30's Crowd"

    Not

"I was born in the 30's Crowd"

Yea it was all about watching scrambled spice channel hoping for a blurred nip.

I also don't get why kids don't go outside and play anymore. Nothing like getting the neighborhood kids together for a game of 3-flys up, or kickball.

The kids outside comment is something that bothers the hell out of me. I get why kids aren't out running around here in the summer months due to the heat. But I went for a walk over the weekend with my dogs, 5 miles through neighborhoods and parks (*was playing ingress*) and didn't see one damn kid out playing. It was 78 outside with a cool breeze, the perfect day to be running around in camouflage playing war. If I were 8 again, hanging with my buddies there would of been WWIII with water balloons and super soakers in my hood!

Nah, today its just a bunch of fucking lazy fat ass kids are inside playing COD or some shit.

Best recess game ever. You got to pelt the kid you didn't like with racquet balls.

(or tennis balls if you had to play with girls)

    haha.

You seen those new Chrysler commercials with Mathew McConaughey?

Was always waiting for the dialogue to go:
'You ever drive one of these Chrysler's? It'd be a lot cooler if you did'.

All right, all right, all right.

Lincoln, not Chrysler. Doesn't really matter, wouldn't buy either haha.

was at my parents 2 weeks ago in Florida with the kids. Mom has a bag of pool toys and had an old racquet ball in there... oh the memories.

With the weather here today (all sunny and nice with that smell of awesomeness) it makes me want to call all my buddies to come over. We'd ride our bikes then build a tree fort, then grab all our plastic guns and plastic knives and play war or indians and cowboys. (actually since we are all 40 and up now, we'd throw out lawn chairs and drink 50 beers and talk about those days):pout:

Shit, we had built our house in a cul de sac when I was 7. Had filbert orchards on all sides except one side was an empty lot with no trees. The grass would grow 4 feet tall all winter then in summer we would sneak into the middle of it and lay down plywood to make a fort in the middle. Then throw dirt clods and water balloons at neighbor kids.

    Fun fun times.

    Sorry ...just reminiscing...
